It's rather certain that it's Office 2016 for Mac but if you'll please go to Word> About Word in the main menu it will tell you exactly what your present update level is, as well.. You can change the default location for templates in Word's preferences, but if you do the Gallery will display those stored there as well as the supplied templates stored in the application Package content..
